Yoga Course Terms and Conditions for Enrollment at Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya
By enrolling in any course, class, or program at Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and smooth functioning for both the institute and its students.
1. Enrollment & Registration
- Your seat in a course is confirmed only once the advance payment has been received. Inquiry, application, or verbal confirmation alone does not guarantee enrollment.
- Registration is subject to availability of seats. Late registration will only be accommodated if space permits.
- Courses are available in two formats:
- Non-Residential (course materials only) — ₹45,000
- Residential (course materials, food, and accommodation included) — ₹55,000
- Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion.
2. Fees & Payment
- A non-refundable advance payment of ₹10,000 is required at the time of registration to confirm your seat, for both Residential and Non-Residential enrollments.
- This advance is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation, change of plans, visa issues, travel disruptions, or any other reason.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full before or on the first day of the course. We do not guarantee a seat to any student whose balance is outstanding.
- Accepted payment methods: UPI, GPay, PhonePe, and Bank Transfer. Please retain your payment confirmation for reference.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- The advance payment (₹10,000) is non-refundable in all cases, without exception.
- If a student cancels before the course begins, the remaining balance paid (excluding the advance) may be refunded.
- Once a course has commenced, no refund — full or partial — will be issued for course fees, accommodation, or food, regardless of the reason for withdrawal, including a student’s own decision to discontinue.
- If a student is unable to attend for genuine, unavoidable reasons, the amount paid (excluding the advance) may instead be credited toward a future course at Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya. This credit is valid for 1 year from the original date of booking and is subject to seat availability at the time of use.
- Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya is not responsible for any travel, visa, accommodation, or other personal expenses incurred by the student, whether the course is cancelled by the student or rescheduled by the school.
- Should Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya need to reschedule or cancel a course, enrolled students will be notified with reasonable advance notice and offered an alternative date or a credit as outlined above.
4. Accommodation & Food (Residential Students Only)
- Residential students are provided accommodation and meals for the full duration of the enrolled course.
- Standard vegetarian meals are provided. Special dietary requests may be accommodated where possible and may involve an additional charge.
- Any extension of stay beyond the official course dates, or any facility not included in the residential package, will be charged separately.
- Students are expected to maintain cleanliness and be respectful of shared living spaces, mealtimes, and fellow residents.
- Visitors are not permitted in residential areas without prior approval from the administration.
5. Attendance & Course Completion
- A minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory to be eligible for a completion certificate.
- Students falling below this attendance threshold will not receive a certificate, regardless of the reason for absence.
6. Health, Safety & Medical Disclosure
- Students must disclose any existing medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, or health concerns to the instructor before beginning practice.
- Instructors will offer modifications where possible; however, Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya is not responsible for any injury, aggravation of an existing condition, or health issue arising from a student’s own negligence or failure to disclose relevant information at enrollment.
- Participation in all practices is voluntary and undertaken entirely at the student’s own risk.
7. Code of Conduct
- Students are expected to treat teachers, fellow students, and the school with respect and courtesy at all times.
- We believe in equality for all, regardless of gender, race, religion, or caste. The focus remains on sincere practice and learning.
- Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior may result in dismissal from the course without any refund.
- Use of tobacco, alcohol, or intoxicants is strictly not permitted on the premises.
- Students are expected to arrive on time and be fully present for scheduled classes.
- Students should respect a teacher’s decision if they are advised to modify or stop a particular asana or practice — teachers make this call based on experience and observation, and always with the student’s safety and wellbeing in mind.
8. Photography, Media & Data Use
- Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya may photograph or record classes and events for use on its website and social media. Students who do not wish to be included should inform the instructor in advance, in writing.
- Contact details shared at enrollment may be used to inform students of future courses, events, or updates from Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya. Students may opt out at any time by writing to us directly.
9. Changes to Programs
- Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya reserves the right to modify course content, timing, or the assigned instructor where necessary, while preserving the overall quality and integrity of the training.
10. Liability
- Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya, its teachers, and staff are not liable for personal injury, illness, or loss or damage to personal property occurring on the premises, including residential areas.
11. Amendments to These Terms
- Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya reserves the right to review and revise these terms at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and continued enrollment implies acceptance of the current terms.
By registering and making payment for any yoga course or class, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
