How Sutra Neti Is Practiced
Sutra neti involves gently passing the moistened thread through one nostril and guiding it out through the mouth, then drawing it back and forth to cleanse the nasal passage. Because this is an advanced technique, it’s best learned directly from a qualified teacher before attempting it alone — we recommend first practice under guidance, ideally within a class setting like the ones we teach at Manjushree Yoga Vidyalaya.
Care and Storage
Rinse the thread thoroughly with warm water after each use and allow it to air dry fully before storing in a clean, dry container. Replace the thread periodically to maintain hygiene, especially with regular practice.
